Crescent-wrapped Sausages

 A new twist on an old favorite that the kid in all of us will love!

This recipe is easily prepared 8 hours ahead and then chilled until ready to bake.

Ingredients:
2 8-oz cans crescent rolls
16 teaspoons honey mustard
16 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
4 fully-cooked mild sausages, each about 4-inches long
Head Country Seasoning
Head Country Bar-B-Q Sauce, favorite flavor


Steps:
Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. (If using a pizza stone, rub a small amount of corn meal into surface.) Separate each roll into triangles (along the perforations). Spread one teaspoon honey mustard on each crescent. Follow with 1 tablespoon shredded cheese. top with a dash of Head Country Seasoning.

Quarter each sausage lengthwise to make 16 sausage pieces. Place 1 sausage along short edge of triangle. Roll up and place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining crescents.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 20 minutes until pastry is golden.

Serve with Head Country Bar-B-Q Sauce.
