Smoking Pork Butt
Question: I will be smoking 2 pork butt (6 and 9 pounds) using apple and pecan wood chunks. I want to use the Head Country Sauce, to mix in the pulled pork, but so far I've read to thin "your favorite sauce". Should I thin the Head Country, and with what and in what ratio?
Judy, Head Country sauces are showcased very nicly on pork products. I would not thin the bbq sauce. I would use almost as much bbq sauce by weight as you have meat. ie, 1 lb of meat 1lb of sauce. Hope this helps, Paul
