Cooking Country Style Ribs
Question: First I'd like to say that Head Country BBQ Sauce is the best stuff I've ever had! I LITERALLY have replaced catsup with Head Country BBQ in everything I eat!!! The question I wanted to ask is, what is the best way to cook country style ribs?
David, Thanks for the compliment. I am glad you like the products. Country style ribs are a great way to showcase the flavors of Head Country. Have you tried our dry rub seasoning? If not you're in for another treat. Season up the ribs somewhat liberally with Head Country All-Purpose Championship Seasoning and allow to marinate for several hours. Build a charcoal fire that registers 275 degrees. I do not cook the ribs directly over the coals at the beginning, they will burn. Allow the ribs to cook for 55 minutes at 275 degrees. Then brush your favorite selection of Head Country BBQ sauce on the top of the ribs places directly over the coals and brush the other side. Turn the ribs once to carmelize the sauce in with the fats from the meat. This glazing should only take about 5 mintues. Watch so they don't burn. Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Good luck let me know how they turn out. Paul
