Information Collection and Use
HCFP is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. HCFP collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
What type of information do we collect?
Personal Information is defined as any information concerning the personal circumstances of an identifiable individual. Personal Information shall include but not limited to: name, home address, home zip code, home telephone number, email address, Social Security Number and/or Identification Number, financial information, and employment related information such as may be found on resumes, applications, background verification information, or in employment references.
HCFP takes measures to maintain the confidentiality of your SSN/IN to protect you from unlawful disclosure, and to limit access to you SSN/IN. HCFP will not make your SSN/IN available to the general public, print your SSN/IN on any information, require you to provide your SSN/IN to access any products or services, transmit your SSN/IN over the Internet.
We will never collect sensitive personal information except to comply with Affirmative Action data requirements. Sensitive personal information can include but not limited to: information pertaining to gender, disabilities, and veteran status.
We will not share Personal Information with anyone outside of HCFP. We will share your Personal Information within the ordering, fulfillment/shipping, and invoicing departments at HCFP. HCFP will not share personal information with a third party, unless a customer consents to such disclosure, or disclosure is requested by law.
A child’s participation in any activity is not contingent upon the child providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for the activity. The type of information that is generally collected (and required) for such activities is the following: full name, email address, city, state, zip. This information is required and used by HCFP in order to contact the winner/s and for internal marketing purposes. We care about the safety of children. We will not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to provide us any personally identifying information. Children under 13 years of age are required to obtain the express permission of a parent or guardian before submitting and personal information about themselves. When HCFP personnel finds that a child has submitted personal information without a parent or guardian consent, HCFP will use reasonable efforts to promptly delete the child’s information from our services.
Our Use of Your Personal Information
Collection and Use of Employee Personal Information
HCFP also collects personal information from its employees and applicants through its Human Resources department. This department deals with job applications, compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, training, employee functions, and other related employment purposes.
>It is the policy of HCFP to keep all current and former employee information private from disclosure to third parties. There are certain exceptions:
- To comply with country, state, or federal agency requests;
- Inquiries from third parties with a signed authorization from the employee to release the information.
Verification of Employment
All such request of this type shall be referred to and completed on a confidential basis by the Human Resources or Payroll Department.
Storage and Updating of Personal Information
HCFP will retain your personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and your consent to retain personal information supplied by you. If a user's personal information changes or if you no longer desire our services, we will provide a way to correct or remove the personal data provided to us.
Notification of Changes
You may contact the Vice President of Head Country Food Products to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information. If necessary, the Privacy Officer will contact another employee to assist in completing your requested task.
